Know What I MEME? – True Definitions

True definitions of words, from the humour blogger Midlife Dramas in Pyjamas

I’ve started creating funny MEMES, and find that I’m really enjoying myself hahaha!

If you follow me on Facebook you might have seen them – if the Gods of Facebook have allowed you to that is. It’s all about algorithms you know; you might not have been chosen to see anything from me this week – AT ALL!

If you follow me on Twitter you might have seen the odd MEME as it whizzed past on your timeline. Unless you blinked.

And if you’re one of the 22 people who follow me on Pinterest then…thank you!

So here are a few that show the true definitions of words. They’ll be coming to a dictionary near you, any day now.

That’s all folks – for now!

Watch out for my MEMES on teenagers and general midlife malarkey.

They’ll be dropping into your mailbox…soon 🙂

  1. I know what you mean about Facebook algorithms. So fickle and frustrating. I do find boosting every now and then helps. I resisted doing so for a long time but read that a boost every so often helps. It’s all in the algorithms! This week I boosted one post, the next one didn’t do too badly and but the next one went boom! It got awesome organic reach. It bugs me that I have to boost though.

    • Yes you’re right. I boost one post every month. One of my teenager MEMES went mad a while ago and I thought I’d never beat it, but I boosted my menopause poem and it’s gone absolutely mental. The boost ran out over a week ago and the organic reach is still growing!! So yes, it’s definitely worth it but I limit myself to once a month because I too resent it. I find it’s also not worth it if the post isn’t already doing quite well before you boost it xx
