Oh dear, it’s a long time since I was a teen but can well remember the total monster that I was – my worst phase was when, aged 13, I decided to become a Goth and would only answer to my Goth name of Pru (no ‘e’ on the end – far too conformist) – I would skulk around, head to toe in black – I can smile now but I was a real horror. That said, and what a hypocrite, I could quite happily strangle several teens that I know now …!
The Goth phase passed me by, I was a New Romantic; black eye liner, frills, booties and lopsided hair. Actually, scrap the lopsided hair…I wasn’t allowed lopsided hair. Not a very rebellious teenager then! Lol!
